Rattrays – Marlin Flake – 50g Tin

Another slight variation on Old Gowrie, this classic blend is a little sweeter from the choice of Virginia being used. When first opened you are greeted with a sweet hay aroma, with a slight fig note coming through and an almost earthy/fruity twang from the Black Cavendish. Out of the three (Old Gowire & Hal O’The Wynd) this is the sweetest and has only a subtle inclination of the Perique. As with all of the Rattrays tobaccos, Marlin Flake is made from premium, high grade Virginia’s and produced as a broken flake. Ages extremely in glass jars.
